A new Lenovo Ideapad has been spotted, the U150. This laptop has: a 11.6-inch screen, an Intel Core 2 Duo ULV CPU, 2GB of RAM, a 250GB hard drive, and integrated Intel GMA X4500 graphics. According to reports, this laptop is only 3 pounds light and is just 0.5 inches thin. It will launch later this year, probably with Windows 7 onboard. It looks like low power thin and light notebooks 11 to 13 inch laptops might be the new netbooks. I'm on the fence about whether these will completely replace netbooks in the coming years, but PC vendors are certainly starting to grow thin and light as they are the new hot thing ... you know, like netbooks were last year.
