Lenovo ThinkPad X301 now available with spinning hard disk 1.8 inches

Lenovo ThinkPad X301 now available with spinning hard disk 1.8 inches |

Lenovo
s flagship ThinkPad X301 laptop can now be found in some configurations with a 1.8-inch magnetic hard disk rather than solid state drives fast and expensive, once included exclusively.

Unfortunately, the new drives are not available on Lenovo.com as part of a build-it-yourself configuration, again. Instead, you are limited to one of two pre-built configurations available from resellers:

* Model 2776-H1U: SU9400 1.4GHz CPU, 2GB DDR3 , Webcam, 120GB 5400rpm, DVDRW, Intel 5100 WiFi, expandable WWAN, 2GB Turbo Memory, Bluetooth, fingerprint reader, 6-cell battery, Vista Business 32 - 1700-1800 street price ~ $
* model 2776-32U: SU9600 1.6GHz CPU, 2GB DDR3, Webcam, 250GB 5400rpm, DVDRW, Intel 5100 WiFi, expandable WWAN, Bluetooth, fingerprint reader, 6-cell battery, XP Professional - the street price - ~ $ 1700

Considering that you can not get the ThinkPad X301 in the $ 1600 range, without DVDRW and other goodies on Lenovo.com with coupons, it's actually not a bad deal. The magnetic hard disk allows you to clearly save a chunk of change here. In fact, if you look for the almost identical model 2776-33U, which adds a 64GB SSD on 2776-32U listed above, it adds an average $ 200-300 in the price tag. You should always make the comparison price in depth to find the model that best fits your needs, but the potential is there to save money.

More background
lenovo_thinkpad_t400s_upgrade_ssd-toshiba When the ThinkPad X300 launched, it has been criticized for its high price, which was largely driven by the SSD so expensive. The drive itself cost over $ 700, which is a very large part of the cost of any laptop, as you could get a pretty good machine equipped so far. Asked about offering a 1.8-inch HDD to reduce the starting cost down, Lenovo said it had investigated this route, but that the performance of these drives was just not up to par for such a high Machine range. Indeed, the storage unit of a system is one of the biggest bottlenecks in modern computer.

Since the ThinkPad X300 launched, SSD prices have dropped significantly bringing the X301 in the sub-range in price from $ 2,000. However, hard drive technology has also advanced, not only are 1.8 inch drives faster, but they have a greater capacity also. Hopefully Lenovo will begin offering the 1.8-inch HDD for the X301 on Lenovo.com, so we can really see what kind of value they can hunt ThinkPad lighthouse.

Dell Inspiron 11z Review

By Gadget News | At 8:30 PM | Label : | 0 Comments
Dell Inspiron 11z Review |
The Inspiron 11z is Dell's first ultraportable laptop to mix the netbook portability with full capacity of laptop. It weighs 3.05 lbs. and about one inch thin, it's easy to carry, but has the ability to deliver smooth HD video playback and performance smoothly with your applications. The biggest differences between a netbook and Inspiron 11z are the new inside. Most netbooks come with Intel Atom processor and GMA 950 graphics while the Inspiron 11z is based on the new Intel CULV processor family combined with more memory and graphics to deliver a better performance improved.

Many consumers wonder what Dell had in store after Dell ended the Inspiron Mini 12 earlier this year ... the Inspiron 11z is the answer. Consumers have asked for a netbook-like device with a netbook price that is capable of handling traditional mobile activities (such as full HD video and multitasking). The Inspiron 11z is just that, with a starting price of only $ 399 in the US from www.dell.com and from August 25 will be available in Carphone Warehouse in the UK and Phone House in France.

Although the Inspiron Mini netbook series are designed as "companion PC" (miniature laptops that are easy to slip into a purse or briefcase but can not replace a full laptop) l Inspiron 11z has the power of a traditional budget laptop a small, easy to carry design. Netbooks offer slower and some types of HD video playback performance will stutter due to the limitations of the Intel Atom processor and Intel GMA 950. The Inspiron 11z does not suffer from these limitations with a new Intel CULV and Intel GS45 Integrated Graphics Processor.

One potential problem we noticed with the Inspiron 11z pre-production is that users will struggle to make their own updates. Dell has sacrificed the expansion of typical RAM and hard drive expansion doors on the bottom of the notebook to make the Inspiron 11z (cost and as low) as thin as possible. This means you must remove the entire bottom of the laptop if you want to make your own updates

Left side view of Inspiron 11z: .. Ethernet, HDMI and USB

some more facts about the Inspiron 11z - as I mentioned, today you can buy a pre-configured system for $ 399, including the following specifications:

* Intel Celeron 723 (1.2GHz / 800MHz FSB / 1MB cache)
* 2 GB DDR2 memory
* 250GB (5400 rpm) hard drive
* Built in Wi-Fi, 1.3MP Webcam
* 11.6 inch HD (1366x768) screen (WLED)
* battery 28WHr with about 3 hours of battery life
* Windows Vista Home Premium with free upgrade kit to Windows 7
* Dimensions
o Height: 0.92 "(235mm) front / 1.02" (258mm) back (with 3 cell battery)
o Depth: 8.43 "(214mm)
o Width: 11.5 "(292mm)

when lauch the Inspiron 11z will be available in black obsidian, but more colors are likely to become later this year.

There will be more configuration options on the road. The Inspiron 11z is only the second member of the "family Z" Dell laptops with thin and light with a large space of battery life -. So stay tuned, we'll have more coverage laptops Z-series in the future

Gateway LT3103u Review

By Gadget News | At 5:29 PM | Label : | 0 Comments
Gateway LT3103u Review |

Not only computer makers expanding the definition of netbooks by offering low-cost highly portable systems increasingly larger screens, but now they are experimenting with different processors, too. Like many netbooks, the Gateway LT3103u has a 11.6-inch screen, but he abandoned the traditional Intel Atom processor in favor of AMD single-core chip, which promises performance stronger. but it is uncomfortable territory. to get slightly better performance figures, you sacrifice the lives of significant battery
Design

The Gateway LT3103u borrows its design NV series of high society. the lid is a glossy black, highlighted by a silver engraved Gateway logo tab. Likewise, the bezel surrounding the screen is glossy black. It's a sleek look, but the lid take fingerprints easily. Inside, the chassis and the keyboard is matte black, and palm rests are dimpled like a golf ball, which is comfortable and offers a new and exciting sensory experience.

At 11.3 x 8.6 inches, the LT3013u uses the same amount of office space as the Lenovo IdeaPad S12 and Acer Aspire One 751h, and as these two systems, its six-cell battery protrude from the back. The LT3103u maintains a uniform thickness of 1 inch from front to back, much like the 751h. Weighing 3.2 pounds, the LT3103u is 3.2 ounces heavier than the ASUS Eee PC 1101HA, but still easily and unobtrusively fit in a messenger bag.

Keyboard and Touchpad
Like the Acer Aspire 751h, the LT3103u a provision not quite Island style; we can not help wondering if the two merged companies were traded on market research data. The flat keys have a slightly granular surface, and offer a good amount of comments. We had some trouble with the LT3103u typing this review.

Although the touchpad is a smallish 2.5 x 1.5 inches (especially compared to the Toshiba mini NB205) there is little friction, and is gesture-enabled, allowing us to flick, pinch and zoom to edit web pages and images. The pad back and the single mouse button below are framed by a chrome accent, which is a touch of class.
Display and Audio

The 11.6-inch, 1366 x 768 glossy LED-backlit display on the LT3103u is neither better nor worse than the systems of 11 inches competitors. Streaming video from Hulu and played off the hard drive were bright and crisp; Horizontal viewing angles are large enough for two people to sit on each side of the system and see the screen comfortably.

The stereo speakers on the LT3103u provide a strong enough sound for a netbook. While bass was lacking and the higher tones are somewhat tinny, voices midrange on Weezer "Island in the Sun" came with good. Since the speakers are mounted on the underside of the front lip of the system, we found that the audio is distorted and became deaf when we had the netbook on our knees; placing the system on a hard surface resulted in an improved listening experience.
Ports and Webcam

typical for a system of this size, the LT3103u has three USB ports, VGA, Ethernet, headphone and microphone and a 5-in-1 memory card slot.

a resolution of 0.3 megapixels may seem a bit low for a webcam, but there is more than enough on the LT3103u. A caller on Skype said that the video was clear to us, and the colors were well represented. Although there is some motion blur, there was nothing out of the ordinary. The microphone on the netbook picked our own voice, too.

Asus G51VX-RX05 Gaming Notebook Review

By Gadget News | At 2:28 PM | Label : | 0 Comments
Asus G51VX-RX05 Gaming Notebook Review |
Recently, we have seen the meteoric rise of netbooks in the mobile space. Their ultra portability in collaboration with the global economic climate seems to have led consumers to think twice about spending large sums of money on mobile devices. This is especially true when netbooks offer the same basic services (word processing, Internet surfing, e-mail) to a significantly smaller investment than most other models. But with netbooks, problems surface when users want to do more than basic tasks. While no one can dispute their ease of use, size, and price point, netbooks do not have the processing power to play the latest games or manage large multimedia workloads which are essential to meet the demands of gamers and enthusiasts.

With their Eee PC line of products, Asus has been at the forefront of the revolution in netbooks. However, they also got a wide range of laptops in full screen mode, which was recently expanded with a new game machine designed for mainstream consumers, combining strong graphics performance and surprising affordability. The G51VX-RX05 is a member of the Asus Republic of Gamers line targeted at the performance enthusiast market and has a Core 2 Duo processor, 4GB of DDR2 memory, a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260M, a "screen 15 6 LCD, a roomy 320GB hard drive, and Windows Vista 64 bit operating system. Although these specifications are attractive, the most attractive feature may list is the competitive asking price, which is currently about $ 1,049. With the new school year just around the corner, we know consumers are in the market for notebooks that offer the best return for their money, so let's take a look more closely at what has to G51VX to offer. CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo P7350 2.0GHz
Memory: 4GB DDR2 800MHz (2x2GB)
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260M 1GB GDDR3
Storage: 320GB 7200RPM
optical: DVD SuperMulti
system OS: Windows Vista Home Premium x64
Wireless: Intel 802.11 A / G / N
Webcam: 1.3 megapixel
Internet wired: 10/100 Ethernet, 56K fax / modem
Ports 4 USB, 1 FireWire, HDMI, VGA, ExpressCard, eSATA, 8-in-1
player
Weight: 7.3 lbs with battery
Dimensions: 14.6 "x 10.3" x 1, 6 "(WxDxH)
warranty: 1 year parts / labor
Price: $ 1049

Stepping in 14.6" x 10.3 "and weighing 7.3 pounds, the G51VX is not ideal for daily travel. More portable than high-end laptops desktop replacement, we would still consider a full size laptop better fit for just occasional trips rather than business travelers on the go.

In fact, we think it would be perfect for a college dorm room, where portability is less important and a full set of features and functionality previously. That said, the G51VX was designed for maximum gaming performance at an affordable price. It is also one of the first machines we tested with the new GeForce GTX 260M mobile GPU from NVIDIA under its hood. So let's take a look more closely at this new hot rod built Asus; then we will take it for a ride around the test track.

Asus U20A Review

By Gadget News | At 2:24 PM | Label : | 0 Comments
Asus U20A Review |

Certainly never seen a butterfly with beautiful wings flying to and fro it not? Well, the strength, beauty and thinness of butterfly wings that is inspired in the design laptop Asus U20A with these series.

Therefore, despite the widescreen 12.1 "Asus U20A designed not as thick and heavy laptops in its class. The thinnest part of the laptop is 2.75 cm, while more than 2.9 cm thick. the weight of the laptop next 6 cell battery, it was only 1.834 kg. in fact, this laptop comes with an optical drive, aka DVD player RW. Li-Ion battery of its own weight of 298 grams.

a cause of light and thin U20A is the use of Intel processors CULV (consumer ultra low voltage), the Intel SU2700 processor combined with the Intel GS45 chipset, X4500 graphics MHD and a Wi-Fi link 5100 Wi-Fi. thin and light laptops with long battery life, more affordable going up the ladder of popularity . more days, more and more portable of this type available on the market, such as Acer and MSI Slim Timeline X.

But if Asus U20A was able to beat its rivals? Let us examine one by one institution of this thin notebook.

physical
We start from the outside view. Like most laptops, Asus U20A plastic body. All the shiny black body. In the middle of the glossy cover that Asus logo.

As usual, ice coverage was pretty inviting fingerprint impressions rather that we must often wipe. The same thing happened with the palm rest panel and LCD frame.

Minimal Screw
Let this laptop for a while. Basically, we will see the two compartments. Close hinges are smaller, and is a place of memory. DDR memory compartment is only locked with a screw, easy to open if we want to improve memory.

The other compartment is where the hard drive. This compartment is also screw minimum, guarded by only two screws. The lack of respect is easier for us to upgrade their own hard drive.

screen
When the lid is open, we will see the LED backlit LCD display of selected layer. Size 12.1 "with a resolution of 1280 × 800 pixels standards. LCD screen is framed by a glossy black panel with U20A cover. There was little effect of the reflection from the glossy frame.

Display LED backlit screen was bright, crisp, clear and precise. at any level of 50 percent, the display is very bright in the search. level adjustable LCD light itself, or from sensors that will adjust the light level in the room where the notebook.

Cam
in the middle of the LCD screen, as usual, installed a 2-megapixel webcam. Enable by double-clicking the menu icon LifeFrame. This camera can set the frequency. When first turned on, you will be presented box contains the location and the recommended frequency of Asus. the quality of the webcam was good, almost without pause. Images looked clear and bright.

images recorded results can be saved as BMP, JPG or GIF. A number of options that can be done by saving the image. Among other images can be added emotion, frames, accessories, date. resolution images can be selected between 160 × 120, 176 × 144, 320 × 240, 640 × 480 and 1280 × 1024.

sequential shooting (continuous shooting) will be done. The options are 3, 5, 12 or 15 frames per second. If the room where the object is felt less light, do not forget to activate the flash. Moda bidiknya can choose Night Scene, Portrait, Slow Shutter and Custom.
recorder
The voice is also available in LifeFrame applications. What is interesting is the offer of game here two images can be placed in a frame, with a choice. Vs .., pair, and facial symmetry?. The effect is very interesting. Symmetry face if elected, she will present a white vertical lines on the webcam to the screen. Put your face in the line, and see the effect. If you are down on the right side of your face will attend the "fat" and on the left side of the current version of the "thin".

Clean the back
the back of the laptop is clean. No nothing except under the Li-Ion batteries. So when I first had to charge the rechargeable batteries, we got confused. We could not find a hole to plug, DC plug-in on the back of it. On the other side, we did not find the hole. Asked asked, was the DC-in jack hidden in a rounded right hinge -. A smart way to make the notebook is clean hole

State of the back of the net from the hole with two opposite sides of a solid port. Look at the right side. Besides DC hole-in to the hinge, each have a single USB port, LAN port, an ExpressCard slot and a DVD-RW drive.

We passed on the left. Well, it really settled side various ports. There are two USB 2.0 ports through a separate vent air, a VGA port, an HDMI port and SD card reader. Appearing in the first two taken :. Microphone and headphone

Meanwhile at the front, two Altec Lansing speakers willing to let the sound. Unfortunately, in our opinion, the sound quality of the big players named is less clear. Its low-less stable.

Keyboard and Touchpad
panel keyboard U20A is impressive. The buttons have a light sensor and could burn brightly in the dark. To activate the light sensor, press Fn-A. The light level can be controlled by pressing Fn-F3 / F4 / F5.

These buttons are large enough for another comfortably to wear. No need too hit hard on each button.

who also grabbed the attention of the touchpad. Not because the right buttons left and width in a single button that turns off uncomfortable chrome removed for a bit inside. But since it also be illuminated touchpad with a pattern of dots follow the direction of movement of our fingers.

Accordingly, this laptop can actually be used perfectly in total darkness, including in aircraft. For all glowing - key, display and touchpad - by himself. Unfortunately U20A touchpad is too sensitive, especially if used for a long time.

Features Wireless
For wireless connections in the U20A Asus Wi-Fi Intel 802.11 / draft-n and Bluetooth v2.1. Just do not look for the Wi-Fi switch on the body of this laptop.

In this notebook, Asus has added shortcut keys style to control various things. So to enable or disable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, we need to press the Fn-F2 key.

Two Power button
Maybe you will be confused to see there are two power buttons - each panel on the upper left and right of the keyboard. Both activate the computer.

The difference is, the power button on the left is a shortcut button, to turn into laptops without an operating system or access the hard drive. Emphasis will activate special modes ASUS Express Gate. Express Gate adaah essentially a mini operating system. This mode is very useful for those who are always mobile, and often need the Internet or view files quickly.

Within eight seconds after the power button is pressed, the laptop can be used.
We can listen to music or watching movies from the CD / DVD or USB flash drive, call via Skype, and talk (chat) with IM, including online gambling games via Wireless LAN (Wi-Fi).

We are also free to view pictures or images on the USB flash drive or digital camera connected to a laptop via a USB picture manager. Read PDF files that bloody in the USB flash drive can be by clicking on the file twice.

We can not hold or grab something to / from disk. OS Asus Express Gate Splashtop-based system, there is no access to the portable hard drive, including the operating system activates. Therefore quick access.

To exit from ExpressGate, just turn off the computer using the power button that appears in the lower right corner of the screen. Or choose to go to the OS, which will allow the laptop as if you press the power button to the right. Under normal conditions, we can access anything on the hard drive. It took 1 minute 32 seconds before the laptop bersistem Windows Vista Ultimate can be used.

Bundle Software software
Asus U20A membundelkan enough in her. For software, Adobe Reader 9 is paired and MS Office (trial version), Cyberlink DVD Suite, Lightscribe Direct Disc Labeling and Picasa 3.

In addition, it is Asus Multiframe and LifeFrame to activate the webcam . Another bonus is the antivirus Norton Internet Security free for three months.

Included in the Asus SmartLogon Manager Utility, AI Recovery Burner, Splendid Utility, Asus and FancyStart. Splendid utility control the screen with six options: Normal, Gamma, Vivid, Theater, sweet, and My Profile. In My profile, you can define their own color temperature, RGB sync, colorfulness, and save it on a hotkey.

SmartLogon Manager very interesting because it allows us to connect using the faces. Webcams will be automatically switched here and ask us to enter the password of pictures and press Capture to create a face of the gallery. level logon can be selected from the highest (high) to lose (low).

Meanwhile FancyStart used to change the startup screen. Here we can adjust its options, background images, frames and modes that will be displayed.

Battery
Our test unit came standard with 3GB DDR2 RAM, 2.5 "HDD 320GB and battery 4400mAh Li-Ion 10.8V Batteries weighing 298 grams was able to support portable - in our experiments. - a maximum of 4 hours 12 minutes this is when we activate this feature batteries Power4Gear Entertainment

in other contexts, namely to save battery. , laptops can be used for 3 hours 24 minutes. while the high-performance setting, the life time 3 hours 49 minutes.

parameters for using Power4Gear battery (high performance, Entertainment, Quiet Office, battery Saving) is diaturkan Asus, but we can also change or add your own. Power4Gear Entertainment example, will turn off the display within 5 minutes if the laptop uses battery power, or 15 minutes when using the mains voltage. Computers will also be included in the standby mode after 15 minutes. While in high performance, nothing is off when the laptop using battery power or grid.

Mouse Free
In the packaging, in addition to batteries and charger, Asus includes a mini optical mouse. This optical mouse connected via USB cable to scan through the body of the mouse. But in our view, the mouse is less comfortable to wear due to lack of precision.

One thing about the adapter. Our test unit equipped with an Asus Charger with two flat feet. Therefore, when the power will recharge the batteries, use the converter -. A bit annoying
***

Asus U20A is compelling because it can be used even in total darkness. Unfortunately, after about 1 hour of use, the bottom of the unit was quite warm, recommended to always use a mat or a portable lap desk.

A rating, the unit we tested was quite different units on the market. Also our mengemaskan unit testing and 320GB of hard drive 2MP Webcam, while circulating in the market and the hard drive of 500GB provides 1.3MP Webcam with 6-cell battery is claimed to work 8 hours, and the added bonus under the form of bags. But both are sold without an operating system

PLUS :. The light sensor on the keyboard, screen and touchpad; rich software bundle; international interest; bright display; Express Gate; RAM and hard disk made easy level

MINUS :. A little heat; feet flat adapter

Laptop Guide Component CPUs-

By Gadget News | At 5:21 PM | Label : | 0 Comments
Laptop Guide Component CPUs- |
From Pentiums unipolar high-end Core 2 quad-core, here's what you need to know about the CPU.

The central processing unit, or CPU is the brain of your laptop. It is the component that performs the complex calculations that allow you to launch a web browser to play songs in iTunes, and run your operating system. Processors come in three varieties: single-core, dual-core and quad-core. Here are the things you need to consider when evaluating the CPU of a laptop.

clockspeed

All processors are assigned a clock speed megahertz (MHz) or gigahertz (GHz), but the -ci is much more common in modern computers. Generally, the higher the clock speed, the best performance you will see.

Number of cores

single-core processors use, as its name suggests, a single CPU. Dual-core is the next step, combining two independent processors on one physical chipset to provide a more powerful processing power. Quad-core, the king of power supply, ups the ante by combining four processors in one package. manufacturers of portable computers, however, place these CPUs and different processor marks which live inside of each class, in classes laptops very specific depending on the need for output power and the battery life of the machine.

processors for Netbooks

Designed for netbooks and nettops, the Intel Atom processor is designed for very light computing, such as web browsing, check email and instant messaging. The Atom is currently available in 800 MHz to 2.0 GHz varieties, but we recommend avoiding anything below 1.6 GHz, or you'll get gray hair waiting,

Although rare compared with Intel, Via Nano CPU is also a good choice. It comes in a range wider than clock speed (1.0 GHz to 1.8 GHz), and we found anything above 1.3 GHz to be acceptable.

In addition, 1.6GHz AMD Athlon Neo CPU is also available in ultra-thin laptops. Neo's performance is good, but the battery life is not as strong as what you will get from an Intel chip.

Ultrathin Notebooks

The new ultra class, low COST PC are powered by ULV (Ultra Low Voltage) Intel platform. This class processors include processors from Celeron, Core 2 Solo and Pentium brand. The chipsets specialize in providing long battery life; the ULV powered Acer Aspire Timeline 3810T (6415) lasted more than 8 hours on our LAPTOP Battery Test. These processors have the clock speeds of 800 MHz to 1.4 GHz.

If you need more performance, consider a business ultraportable with a low voltage Core 2 Duo processor, the Toshiba Portégé R600 as-ST520W or Lenovo ThinkPad X301. Just expect to pay a hefty premium.

Mainstream Notebooks

If you want a notebook with more processing power, mainstream notebooks are the way to go because they feature the top members range of Core 2 Duo family of Intel. Although you will not find notebooks with slim body of a ULV-powered machine, you will still be able to play games and soak in the creation of multimedia content. You might even be able to get a system with long battery life.

Whatever mobile consumer you get, you will need a Mac or PC running at 2.0 GHz. If additional processing punch is high on your list, however, we suggest a minimum clock speed of 2.4 GHz.

Laptop hunters on a budget may want to check out the offers from AMD (Athlon, Sempron and Turion), which are generally cheaper than their Intel counterparts. Pentium dual-core Intel is also acceptable for budget buyers.

Replacements Office

If you are a hardcore gamer or someone who makes a lot of demanding work (CAD, professional graphic design, video editing, etc.) and cares more performance than portability, settle for nothing less than a great laptop with an Intel Core 2 Quad CPU. Such a system will probably have a range of less than 2 hours, weigh more than 8 pounds and cost more than $ 1,500. However, if speed is your priority, the tradeoffs are worth it

Lenovo ThinkPad T400s Multi-Touch Notebook Review

By Gadget News | At 11:19 AM | Label : | 0 Comments
Lenovo ThinkPad T400s Multi-Touch Notebook Review |
If you have not noticed, Lenovo has a thing for machines reintroduction with a tweak here and there and maybe a hint of new features. The IdeaPad S10-2 is a great example of that, as the new party, multi-touch ThinkPad T400s. Frankly, the ThinkPad T400s that emerged in June was not quite different from the original ThinkPad T400. The T400s offered a slimmer profile, a tweaked keyboard, a few new updates internal hardware upgrades and optional WAN connectivity. The new T400s, which has Windows 7 and multi-touch screen, a major feature added :. Button

But really, the touch input is adding to an already pretty decent laptop to make you think twice about buying a Lenovo? Or better yet, could he convince the owners of existing T400 and T400s to upgrade? In the coming pages, we'll take a look at how think machine performs with a new operating system. Unlike the original T400s that we reviewed earlier in the summer, our multi-touch T400s comes with Windows 7 Professional, while the previously T400s comes with a variety of options Vista.

Of course, those who are interested in acquiring multi touch will pay for the privilege. The original T400s started only $ 1599. The Multi-Touch T400s starts at $ 1.999. That's a premium of $ 400 just for the fancy display, and if you feel like calculating with a 2.53GHz processor and an improved SSD, be prepared to pay more. There is no doubt that this machine could end up pushing $ 3000 before all was said and done, what seems simply outrageous whatever the tip all the multi-touch aspect is. That said, when you consider that Apple gets to a Macbook Pro with fewer features than that, maybe it is not so exorbitant?

HP Envy 13 Review |
Comparisons were made by the flattering moguls Appleism the Envy HP 13 is just a knock-off of the Macbook Pro 13-inch. They are cowards out and I will not stand. I will look at the latest HP Laptop - do not call it a netbook! - As a harbinger of things to come

The Envy 13 reflects some trends in the Windows hardware .. First, consumers are realizing that laptops are garbage. They are willing to pay a premium for a more powerful computer in a sex case. Second, Windows 7 is here and it's ready to shoot later and note the credentials.

The model we tested was equipped with Windows 7 Professional and had a 2 L9600 processor Intel Core Duo clocked at 2.13 GHz. He also had 3GB of memory 1067 MHz. His GeekBench score was 2375. To put this in perspective, this ToughBook scored 1893 and something like the MSI Wind It 837. This is, needless to say, a strong machine. Battery life reached 3 hours of movie watching

Specifications:
Processor: 2.13GHz Intel Core 2 Duo SL9600
Memory: 3 GB RAM
Storage: 250GB hard drive
optical drive: None
screen: 13.1 inches (1,600x900 native resolution)
Graphics: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330 (512MB)
Weight: 3.7 pounds
Dimensions (HWD): 0.8x12 inches .6x8.5
operating system: Windows 7 professional (64 bit)
