new Google Nexus devices are supposed to happen at some time after Android 7.0 Nougat is released but does not expect them in stores quite yet. However, this is not the only change in store for the devices, which will supposedly offer users a new gesture linked to the fingerprint sensor.

Because it is a feature that requires a fingerprint sensor on the back, only Nexus devices that have a will support it. This includes the next Nexus smartphone in 2016, and could cover 5X Nexus and Nexus 6P last year Android Police reports.
